Octopuses are marine invertebrates that belong to the cephalopod family. They have a soft body and eight tentacles that are covered in suction cups. They have three hearts and blue or brown skin. Octopuses have keen eyesight and can even see color. Octopuses are skilled hunters, using their tentacles to capture prey such as fish and crabs. They also use their tentacles to hide from predators.  

 

Feeding  

They feed mainly on mollusks, crustaceans, and some fish, octopuses can grow to be quite large. The Giant Pacific Octopus, found in coastal waters from central California to Alaska, can reach a size of 4.9 meters (16 feet) and the average weight of an adult is 132 kilograms. As funny facts, they can also learn to recognize individual humans, use tools to hunt for food, and even open jars to get the food inside. 

 

Self-defense 

Octopuses are super smart animals and are well-adapted to their environments. They have many techniques for defending themselves against predators. Octopuses camouflage themselves by taking on the colors and patterns of their surroundings, making them hard to spot. They can also release a cloud of ink to confuse their predators. Octopuses are also extremely powerful and can fight off predators with their tentacles.  

 

Regeneration 

Octopuses are unique animals that can rebuild lost limbs. This is possible due to the fact that their bodies contain stem cells that can reconstruct tissue. Octopus limbs will regrow within a few weeks, allowing them to quickly recover from injury.

How is their behavior?
